Ryan Huiszoon completes his Ph.D. in August 2020
Ryan Huiszoon completed his Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering in August 2020. His dissertation, titled "Integrated Microsystem-based Approach for Detection and Treatment of Bacterial Biofilms on Urinary Catheters," presents the development of flexible sensors integration with commercially available Foley catheters to measure bacterial biofilms using impedance-based sensing and apply bioelectric effect for biofilm treatment. He will join Facebook Reality Labs in Seattle, WA in September. (06 – Aug/2020)
