Hyun Jung completed his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in July 2016

Hyun Jung completed his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in July 2016. His dissertation is titled "MEMS Sensor Platforms for In Situ Characterization of Li-ion Battery Electrodes." His dissertation presents the development of two microelectromechanical systems sensor platforms for in situ characterization of stress and microstructural changes in thin film Li-ion battery electrodes, which can be leveraged as a characterization platform for advancing battery performance.
