Modafe, Ghalichechian are recipients of the 2004 MEMS and NEMS Technical Group Graduate Award

Alireza Modafe (pictured) and Nima Ghalichechian are the recipients of the 2004 MEMS and NEMS (MN) Technical Group Graduate Award.  The award was given to the presentation judged by the MN Technical Committee to be the best presentation among all MN student papers at the American Vacuum Society (AVS) 51st International Symposium last November in Anaheim, CA. The title of their presentation was "BCB-Based Linear Micromotor Supported on Microball Bearings: Design Concepts, Characterization, and Fabrication Development."
