Thomas Winkler, George Banis, and Ryan Huiszoon receive awards at AVS 63rd International Symposium
Thomas Winkler, George Banis, and Ryan Huiszoon were recognized with awards at the AVS 63rd International Symposium in Nashville, TN. Thomas received the Russell & Sigurd Varian Award for his excellence in graduate studies in science and technology competing with students from around the world to win this most prestigious award offered to graduate students by AVS. George won first place for the Best Technical Poster in the Biomaterial Interfaces Division with his poster titled "Quantitative Sensing of Pancreatic Enzymes using Gelatin." Ryan was one of two finalists for Best Oral Presentation in the MEMS & NEMS Technical Group for his talk titled "Bacterial Biofilms on 3D-Printed Implant Materials." November 14, 2016.
