Justin Stine, Joshua Levy, and Michael Straker Nominated for Best Paper Award at Hilton Head 2022 Workshop
Graduate students Justin Stine, Joshua Levy, and Michael Straker have been nominated for Best Paper Award at the 2022 Hilton Head Workshop to be held June 5-9, 2022 for their abstracts on ingestible devices.
Justin's abstract titled "Miniaturized Capsule System for Hydrogen Sulfide Detection in the Gastrointestinal Tract" will be presented in Ingestible and Implantable Microsystems I session and describes an ingestible capsule platform developed for real-time sensing of hydrogen sulfide and related gaseous markers of GI inflammation.
Joshua and Michael's abstract titled "Biomimetic Anchoring System for Sustained and Localized Gastrointestinal Drug Delivery" will be presented in Ingestible and Implantable Microsystems II session and describes a strategy utilizing micro-needle anchors for localized delivery of drugs on porcine tissue.
